Community Nursing/Public Health Policy Practicum: Provides opportunities to assess and analyze the strengths and needs of communities and populations through the lens of various models and frameworks. The partnership role of the community as client/teacher with the holistic nurse is emphasized. The focus is on primary prevention and culturally competent health care management using evidence-based practices to achieve public health policy goals. Prerequisites: NURS650 and NURS651 and NURS652 and NURS653 and NURS654 and NURS656 Co-requisites: NURS752 Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate Must be assigned one of the following Student Attributes: MIDAS Nursing Program College of Nursing Nursing
