Catalog description

The first in a series of two, this practicum promotes the application of promotive, preventive, and interventive holistic nursing therapeutics to be used with communities experiencing transitions. Practicum experience within community based organization is provided. Community assessment skills and accessing community resources, within the framework of Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) competencies, are emphasized. The partnership role of the community as the client/teacher with the holistic nurse is emphasized. Accelerated course for ABSN students only.
