Catalog description

Focus on facilitating holistic health outcomes for families experiencing pediatric transitions. Family transitions, developmental and situational, through the life-cycle are explored. Issues surrounding pediatric health-illness transitions in the family are also discussed. Diversity of family life related to ethnicity/culture is emphasized. The role of the holistic nurse as an educator, consultant, facilitator and partner with the pediatric client/s and family are emphasized. Prerequisites: NURS268 and NURS356 and NURS357 and NURS368 Co-requisites: NURS389 Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: Accelerated BS in Nursing Course Attributes: 100 Percent Online No Set Meet, Accelerated BSN College of Nursing Nursing
