Catalog description

Focus on facilitating holistic health outcomes for families experiencing transitions with regards to reproduction and reproductive health. Family transitions, developmental and situational, through the life-cycle are explored. Issues surrounding health-illness transitions in women and childbearing family are also discussed. Diversity of family life related to ethnicity/culture is emphasized. The role of the holistic nurse as an educator, consultant, facilitator and partner with the client/s is emphasized. Prerequisites: NURS232 and NURS233 and NURS364 and BIOL200 and BIOL201 Co-requisites: NURS383 College of Nursing Nursing
