Catalog description

Focus on the analysis and utilization of nursing research literature to facilitate holistic nursing care of individuals, families, and communities. The use of the principles and methods of research as a means for developing critical reasoning vital to professional judgment is emphasized. Research is examined for evidence based practices that addresses research findings, the nurse\2019s expertise and patient/family preferences. Discussion entails the importance of dissemination of research findings. Student must have minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA. Prerequisites: NURS232 and NURS233 and ( MATH115 or MATH116) and BIOL200 and BIOL201 Course Attributes: Writing Flag Core College of Nursing Nursing
