Catalog description
The NURS 363 Practicum course focuses on fostering skill in the clinical setting for planning, implementing, and evaluating holistic nursing interventions used to facilitate healthy outcomes for adult clients with chronic medical-surgical conditions. Therapeutic communication and patient-centered care are emphasized as essential components of all nursing interactions with clients. Students will participate in weekly clinical to apply holistic nursing interventions for health promotion and disease prevention in adults experiencing chronic health-illness transitions in primary, Prerequisites: NURS232 and NURS233 and NURS364 and BIOL200 and BIOL201 Co-requisites: NURS362 College of Nursing Nursing
