The vision of interprofessional collaborative practice is safe, high quality accessible, student/patient/client-centered care. This course challenges students to explore how your profession could contribute to integrating roles that would promote healthy lifestyles, creating a productive learning environment, a productive workforce, and thriving communities. Interprofessional collaboration recognizes a culture of respect, concise, clear communication, interdependent care for person-centered outcomes, and integration of services through shared decision-making. This course will provide students with an opportunity to envision practice across disciplines and or microsystems in teams to meet the needs of individuals, families, and the community.
