Catalog description
This course introduces theoretical frameworks for the holistic application of nursing therapeutics for clients experiencing developmental transitions. Utilization of the nursing process and other critical thinking skills are applied to the delivery of nursing therapeutics. Assessment and therapeutic and inter-professional communication skills are re-inforced. Emphasis on the client and family as an active partner in the healing process and attentiveness to one\2019s spirit is examined as critical components of the healing interaction. The role of transpersonal human caring and healing is emphasized with therapeutic relationships. Prerequisites: NURS226 and NURS227 and NURS266 and CHEM150 and CHEM151 Co-requisites: BIOL200,BIOL201,NURS233,NURS364 College of Nursing Nursing
