This interdisciplinary course introduces the idea of Europe from the 18th-21st centuries and provides critical tools for understanding received ideas about norms and values implicitly or explicitly associated with Europe and European culture\2014and, in turn, used to define non-European spaces. Attention to how Europe has been imagined and experienced from in and outside of Europe. Language of Instruction: English.
