Catalog description

A capstone course for prospective high school teachers focusing on connections between secondary and undergraduate mathematics. Emphasis on analysis and algebra. The real numbers, sequences and series, countability, concepts of infinity. Functions, logarithms, solving equations, the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra and its consequences. Complex numbers and functions. Prerequisites: MATH340 College of Arts & Sciences Mathematics
