Catalog description

An introduction to the major concepts and tools used for collecting, analyzing, and making inferences from data. Topics include: graphical displays, correlation, regression, design of experiments, probability, simulation, random sampling, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing. Prerequisites: Placement - Math ELC or Placement - Math ADV or MATH120 Restrictions: May not be enrolled in one of the following Colleges: Williams College of Business Course Attributes: Math Persp / Explorations, Quantitative Reason Flag Full College of Arts & Sciences Mathematics
