Catalog description

A course on the fundamental principles of interest theory and financial mathematics for Actuarial Science majors. Topics include: time value of money, compound interest, accumulation functions, annuities, perpetuities, amortization schedules, yield rates, bonds, duration, convexity, immunization, swaps, asset/liability management, contingent cash flows, and options. Prerequisites: MATH180 and MATH181 and MATH182 College of Arts & Sciences Mathematics
