Catalog description

This course examines systems theory as applied to instructional systems design and development, emphasizing principles and procedures for creating comprehensive instructional and performance solutions. Building on foundational instructional design knowledge, students analyze organizational contexts, evaluate learning and performance systems, and apply systematic design approaches to develop integrated instructional programs. The course also explores the roles of instructional systems professionals in leading design, implementation, and performance improvement efforts across complex environments. Prerequisites: IDDT500 Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Arts & Sciences Communication
