Catalog description
Examines key theories and models of adult learning and their application in instructional design. Students will explore varying perspectives on how adults learn, inclusive of andragogy, self-directed learning, experiential learning, transformative, and constructivism. Students are also exposed to instructional models that support adult learning in formal and informal settings, with an emphasis on designing instruction that aligns with their needs, motivations, and contexts. Prerequisites: IDDT500 Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Arts & Sciences Communication
