The course examines the political, social, and cultural history of Nazi Germany, with a special focus on the importance of Nazi racial ideology. It uses a combination of material \2013 monographs, journal articles, book chapters, and primary source material (both written and visual) \2013 to analyze the goals of the Nazi leadership, how the German population experienced the Nazi era, and what German policies meant for those deemed threats to the German \201Cpeople\2019s community.\201D Course Attributes: Humanities Elect/Integrations, Peace & Justice Studies Minor College of Arts & Sciences History
