Catalog description

This course serves as an introduction to Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. The course covers the background, history, issues and barriers to system adoption and health information technology. Students will be exposed to various types of EHR systems and understand the strengths and weaknesses of the various EHR systems. Prerequisites: HESA341 and HESA101 and HESA110 College of Health and Human Sciences Health Services Administration
