Catalog description
Social, political, cultural, and economic issues of contemporary Germany are discussed as presented in the postwar short stories of among others Borchert, Boll, Kaschnitz, Langasser, Siegfried Lenz, Bichsel, etc. This course is taught entirely in German. Pre-requisite: GERM 202 or by placement test. Prerequisites: Undergraduate level GERM202 Minimum grade of D College of Arts & Sciences Classics & Modern Languages
