Finance Industry Exploration

Catalog description

This course provides a broad introduction to the finance profession, with an emphasis on educating students about various internship opportunities and career paths in the field (e.g., corporate finance, investments, banking, real estate), as well as current trends in the industry, in particular Fintech. Students are introduced to finance through traditional lectures, experiential learning (e.g., guest speakers, Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ), and group projects. Williams College of Business Finance
