Catalog description
This course is designed to examine human physiological adaptations from acute and chronic stresses of exercise. This course emphasizes common measurements in exercise physiology, bioenergetics, exercise metabolism, the nervous and skeletal muscle systems, cardiovascular physiology, respiration during exercise, environmental physiology, and the physiological effects of training. Prerequisites: (Undergraduate level BIOL140 Minimum grade of C and Undergraduate level BIOL141 Minimum grade of C and Undergraduate level BIOL142 Minimum grade of C and Undergraduate level BIOL143 Minimum grade of C) or (Undergraduate level BIOL354 Minimum grade of C and Undergraduate level BIOL355 Minimum grade of C and Undergraduate level BIOL410 Minimum grade of C and Undergraduate level BIOL411 Minimum grade of C) Co-requisites: EXSC301 College of Health and Human Sciences School of Sport Science & Mgmt
