In an ever changing and involving world, the pace of innovation has increased rapidly with the advent of technological innovation, greater access to knowledge/information, increased globalization, and the increased ability of small, emerging startups to disrupt major markets and stalwart market leaders. This course will examine the role of business model innovation in disruption. Students will examine the role of 75+ business models that account for the success of 90% of companies. They will understand the core principles of a successful business model and explore how various business models work. This exploration will be accomplished through case studies, individual and team projects, lecture, class discussion, guest speakers, and experiential learning. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate Williams College of Business Mgmt, Entrepreneurship & HR
