Catalog description
Study of British and American texts from the 19th and early 20th centuries, with particular emphasis on artistic, theoretical, and formal exchanges of influence between these two national literary traditions. This course will include a research assignment. Students are strongly encouraged to complete ENGL 210 Methods Workshop and/or ENGL 205: Lit & the Moral Imagination or equivalent before enrolling.\202F Prerequisites: ENGL101 or ENGL115 College of Arts & Sciences English
