Catalog description

Students will read modern-English translations of works in multiple genres composed by women in Europe between the eighth and fifteenth centuries. Primary texts will also be supplemented by works of literary and historical criticism. This course will include a research assignment. Students are strongly encouraged to complete ENGL 210 Methods Workshop and/or ENGL 205: Lit & the Moral Imagination or equivalent before enrolling.\202F Prerequisites: ENGL101 or ENGL115 Course Attributes: Gender & Diversity Studies, GDST Women and Gender Conc, Humanities Elect/Integrations College of Arts & Sciences English
