This writing intensive course will examine the history and practice of writing as social action, promoting the Jesuit rhetorical tradition of eloquentia perfecta, the art of communicating well for the common good. This is an upper-level English course\202Fdesigned\202Ffor\202Fjunior and senior English and Writing majors or minors. It is also accessible for students in other disciplines who are dedicated writers committed to expanding their writing abilities.\202F Prerequisites: ENGL101 or ENGL115 Course Attributes: ERS Focus Elective, Humanities Elect/Integrations, Peace & Justice Studies Minor, Writing Flag Core College of Arts & Sciences English
