Catalog description

This course will explore the complex relationship between language and the new media environment. Students will study case studies by minority language researchers and activists in order to learn about the importance of the internet and its efforts to promote minority languages, including the connection between social media and policy and planning for minority languages. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Health and Human Sciences School of Education
