ECSPED: Curriculum Practices

Catalog description

Students in this course will demonstrate curriculum practices of selection, designing, and developing ECSPED intervention classroom methods/materials, implement developmentally appropriate individual/family activities; systematic instruction; access development/progress; participation with interdisciplinary, interagency and intra-agency teams; design/plan/implement process and strategies for transitions; demonstrate understanding of foundations of curriculum, research-based practices. Required field experiences in diverse settings - 30 hours. Prerequisites: EDSP505 and ( EDSP560 or EDSP570 or EDSP591) Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Health and Human Sciences School of Education
