Catalog description
This course focuses on how to select, adapt, and use instructional strategies and materials according to characteristics of individuals with gifs and talents; effective management of teaching and learning for these students; acceleration, enrichment, and counseling within a continuum of service options; grouping practices that support differentiated learning environments; ways to create learning environments that allow individuals to retain and appreciate their own and each others’ respective language and cultural heritage; demonstration of use of instructional time; integration of curriculum and instructional strategies. Required field experience in diverse settings - 30 hours. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Health and Human Sciences School of Education
