Catalog description

The literature and key figures working in the area of literacy; the Literacy Volunteers of America certified training in Basic Reading Tutor Training. Research into the problem of illiteracy. Weekly in-service practice in a neighborhood literacy center. EDRE 296 is offered as part of the reading program and as an E/RS Focus elective course. This course cannot be used towards the Reading Endorsement K-12. Prerequisites: Undergraduate level PHIL100 Minimum grade of D and Undergraduate level THEO111 Minimum grade of D Course Attributes: ERS Focus Elective College of Health and Human Sciences School of Education
