Qualitative Methodology

Catalog description

This course will focus upon the use of qualitative methods for educational research. Methods such as interviewing, focus groups, participant observation, and ethnography will be taught and practiced. The final research proposal requires students to implement selected methods from this course and to become familiar with one area of the research literature in the field. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Health and Human Sciences School of Education
