Catalog description

This course will prepare teacher candidates to integrate technologies into the pre-K - 12 classrooms. It includes effectively identifying, locating, evaluating, designing, preparing, and using educational technology as an instructional tool in the classroom. Candidates will have the opportunity to explore and apply various computer applications, websites, and other technological resources/media. Hands-on explorations, demonstrations, and discussion will be the general learning format of the class. Candidates will be required to apply their learning in a variety of assignments to demonstrate knowledge in using and integrating technology appropriately into the curriculum. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Health and Human Sciences School of Education
