Catalog description

This course is a specific study of the development of the whole child in 4th and 5th grade (ages 9-11) within the context of the classroom. Emphasis is on developmental transitions that occur between the early childhood and the intermediate childhood years. Developmentally appropriate practice and classroom management strategies will be presented in the context of social emotional, cognitive and physical development of 9\201311-year-olds. Prerequisites: EDFD101 and EDFD110 and EDEC210 Co-requisites: EDEL405,EDEL406 College of Health and Human Sciences School of Education
