In class, students will learn how to decide on an appropriate research topic, formulate hypotheses using economic theory, fit the topic into a broader literature, collect and analyze data and write the capstone paper based on the results from data analysis. At the end of the term, students will present their capstone to the economics faculty throughout the second half of the term.
