Catalog description

Introduction to system level security issues. Operating systems, networks, and databases are examined from a design perspective to recognize the security threats in current systems and design principles for secure systems. Includes examination and use of tools for monitoring and administering systems securely. Prerequisites: ( CSCI190 or BAIS459) and MATH156 and CSCI340 College of Arts & Sciences Computer Science
