Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with further understanding of the role and identity of professional school counselors. Students will explore content and process for the implementation of 21rst century school counseling programs. The course will assist students in obtaining and developing skills necessary for development of a comprehensive developmental school counseling program based on national standards for school counseling programs, including those skills utilized in collaboration, consultation, and team building. Prerequisites: COUN537 Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Health and Human Sciences Counseling
