This is a graduate level course providing an overview of terrorism, and counter-measures for the uninitiated, working professionals and college students alike. It variously touches upon subject matters of definition, theories, causation, impact of terrorism and counter-terrorism. The course ends with a discussion of the major issues confronting policy makers, from whether torture should be used to how to strike a balance between security vs. liberties in fighting terror. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Health and Human Sciences Criminal Justice
