Catalog description

Explores the structure and function of the Federal and State criminal court systems from institutional and behavioral perspectives, First, Sixth, Eighth and Fourteenth Amendment provisions relevant to law enforcement, judicial process and corrections. Ethical aspects are considered, especially the rights and obligations of correctional staff. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate College of Health and Human Sciences Criminal Justice
