Catalog description

An overview of ethical scientific research practice. This course will provide an ethical foundation for conducting research in an ethical manner. Students will complete the Responsible Conduct of Research training provided by the online CITI program, as well as the training for studies involved human subjects, as required by Xavier\2019s IRB. With this foundation, the class will discuss case studies involving current ethical questions in scientific research. Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Majors: Biochemistry Chemistry Pharmaceutical Science Must be enrolled in one of the following Classifications: Senior Junior College of Arts & Sciences Chemistry
