Catalog description
Upon completion of this laboratory course students will be able to identify and explain the scientific process, they will be able to generate and analyze data from inquiry based experiments. They will understand and describe the role of chemistry in biology, role of molecules in life and cells and how they use energy. They will perform and evaluate experiments in DNA and gene expression, biotechnology, human inheritance patterns, evolution and the diversity of life. These experiments will develop their critical thinking skills on how to approach a question and analyze data generated to determine the answers.
