Catalog description

An advanced level of study in the ceramic medium, either in handbuilding or with the potter’s wheel. After two semesters of exploration and experimentation, students will begin to master advanced methods of clay construction, emphasizing content and good craftsmanship. Students are expected to take charge of all areas of studio management. Prerequisites: (Undergraduate level ARTS109 Minimum grade of C- and Undergraduate level ARTS209 Minimum grade of C-) or EDMS999 College of Arts & Sciences Art
