Catalog description

This course advances drawing and illustration into a more self-directed and conceptually focused practice. Students are expected to bring developed technical skills into projects that involve research, experimentation, and a growing sense of personal voice. Emphasis is placed on visual problem-solving, serial thinking, stylistic consistency, and the relationship between process, content, and audience. Students work across traditional and contemporary drawing approaches while building a more cohesive body of work. Prerequisites: (Undergraduate level ARTS102 Minimum grade of C- and Undergraduate level ARTS202 Minimum grade of C-) or EDMS999 College of Arts & Sciences Art
