Introduction to Community Pharmacy Practice

Catalog description

Four-week rotation in a community pharmacy practice setting. Applying classroom knowledge, students will participate in patient care activities including basic patient and drug therapy assessment, self-care recommendations, patient education, and the medication distribution process. Students will fulfill legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities while delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care.
