This course examins the regulatory climate for FDA-regulated drug and biological products. Regulatory standards are reviewed (including discovery of new therapeutic modalities, their approval, manufacturing, promotion, and distribution), and the enforcement authority of the FDA is examined (focusing on methods that promote safe and effective drug use).
