The course introduces solid modeling and graphical communication. Topics include sketching, geometric relationships, features, reference geometry, solid parts, mass properties, assemblies, constraints, orthographic projection, multi-view drawings, dimensioning, and annotations. The course covers the SOLIDWORKS CAD application, engineering design principles, and best practices. The course concludes with students taking the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) exam.
