Max Credit: (Max. 3) A study of the allocation and reallocation of water resources with particular emphasis on prior appropriation systems in the Western United States. Riparian systems and groundwater management are also addressed, along with interstate conflicts, federal water rights, federal-state relations, and the effect of environmental laws on water allocation and the exercise of water rights.
