Catalog description

Max Credit: (Max. 3) Examines the organization, powers, responsibilities, liabilities and financing of units of local government, including counties, cities, school districts and other special districts. Interrelationships among local governments, the states and the federal government are studied. Leading judicial decisions as well as state and federal constitutional and statutory provisions will be assigned. Particular emphasis is placed on the law of Wyoming and other western states.
