-6 Max Credit: (Max. 6) Examines contemporary research and practice in literacy instruction. Read about and discuss cutting-edge literacy methods related to 1) word recognition, 2) beginning and fluent text reading, 3) reading comprehension, and 4) vocabulary development. In addition, students will analyze their current literacy instruction and develop, implement, and evaluate lessons that involve new instructional approaches.
