The Rocky Mountain Herbarium offers an abundance of material for study and the library is especially rich in taxonomic literature. Monographic work may be done on an assigned genus or on the plants of a limited area. Cytological, anatomical, and biochemical techniques may be employed in the solution of certain problems.
