Catalog description

Introduces students to the various roles and responsibilities of museum professionals in the areas of leadership and management, collections, exhibits, education and engagement, and security. Practice-based assignmenets, readings, discussions, field trips, and meetings with museum professionals will provide students with a solid understanding of key aspects central to the wrorking of all museums, regardless of the nature of the collection, and introduce students to abailable career parths in these institutions.
