Catalog description

This course will provide students with a view of the evolving world of work in the United States, with specific attention to Innovation, Manufacturing, Natural Resource Extraction, and Agriculture. The course will survey the history of jobs in the U.S. with specific attention to changes through time, location and events. We will also look ahead to the age of automation. Students will participate in a significant research project, through which they will create a case study of a specific economic ecosystem. USP 2003-2014 Code U5FY
