Continuation of the material introduced in STT4160. This course will continue to teach the steps involved in the statistical modeling process and how to apply these steps in an actuarial context. Tools will be introduced for the calibration and evaluation of the models. Topics covered include Credibility, Pricing and Reserving, and Insurance and Reinsurance coverages. Course covers the SOA syllabus for exam STAM when combined with STT 4160. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level STT 4160 Minimum Grade of C Course Level: Undergraduate Schedule Type(s): Lecture Grade Mode: Standard
