Seminar course that assists students who wish to prepare to sit for the Society of Actuaries (SOA) Exam P. It is expected that students enrolling in this course will already have taken courses in probability and statistics that have covered all or most of the topics in this ACTEX Manual and/or the Part P syllabus posted on the SOA website. Virtually all class time will be spent discussing solution techniques for sample problems of the type expected to be encountered on Exam P. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level STT 3600 Minimum Grade of C Course Level: Undergraduate Schedule Type(s): Seminar Grade Mode: Pass/Unsatisfactory Total number of hours course may be taken for credit: 2
